Every bigger city has a network of Metros-lines. It allows to move people fast and efficient between different parts in the city. By this it helps to improve the environment and living quality in the city. The metro-network in china is still growing very fast, many cities set up new metro-lines or enlarge the exisiting one. The world-wide eldest metro was established 1863 in london and the biggest network of metro is Shanghai with 740 km network and more than 364 stations. And the metro in Tokyo is the one who transport most people daily: around 8.7 million daily riders.
Even the speed is around 80 kmh but the stops between stations are very short, which is a heavy duty for disc and pad. Beijing Puran supply pads to several metrolines in China and Puran Deutschland is working on some projects with carbuilders in europe to supply pads for the metro.
